The Board of Trustees and I have been meeting with Parkhill Architectural, a local firm out of Lubbock about the costs of putting a Bond Election in front of the voters and building a new High School. We have a citizens committee who attended a meeting back in December and was informed about the current condition of our facilities, etc. The committee also looked over proposals regarding a new High School and bringing our existing High School up to date and converting it into the Junior High. With this being said, I will be sending a survey out to the public to see what kind of response we get about the possibility of a potential bond election in May of this year. The questions will be very specific and deal with the current condition of our buildings, etc. I encourage each of you to take time and respond to the survey. Your voice matters! The survey will be on our school website which is:  www.lfdisd.org.

The survey will be active from Monday, January 10 at 8:00 AM and will close on Tuesday, January 18 at 4:00 PM. I strongly encourage anyone who lives in the Littlefield Independent School District to take time and complete the survey. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at 806-385-4150.

Germ Blast will be sanitizing and cleaning our buildings on January 15.

We will be out of school on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Please check our school website for the most up-to-date list of activities and events.  www.lfdisd.org.

Proud to be a WILDCAT!
